TOMMASO FATTOVICH

Tommaso Fattovich is an emerging artist currently living in Delray Beach, Florida. He was born and raised in Milan, Italy, where his art education consisted of the surrounding culture and people. After moving to Florida, Tommaso worked as a musician while also as a cartoonist for the Sun Sentinel, and later graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Science in International Business.

An ambitious artist, Tommaso went on to travel to South America, Los Angeles, and New York where he gained much inspiration for his artwork. In addition to his travels, Tommaso's work is deeply influenced by music and film: powerful imagery and sounds manifested in his artwork as a direct expression of the unconscious. Tommaso's work is related to emotions, expression, and mood, showcasing the artist's feelings behind his work and deliberate rejection of traditional artistic practice and style.

Tommaso's style consistently shows a passionate intensity and spontaneity, focusing less on imagery, and more on brush strokes and use of canvas. Each piece engages an internal conversation between painting and viewer; one that is personal. His goal is not for his artwork to make sense, but rather to make an emotional connection that can be continually redefined by the viewer.

Previously, his work has been shown only to private collectors, but can now be seen in the Miami and Key West Art Districts. Tommaso is currently working on pieces tied together by a unifying sensory theme of rusty, aged and destroyed surreal environments.
